Dr. Frank Sierra
A native of Tampa, Dr. Sierra graduated from The University of South Florida with a Bachelors degree in Natural Sciences and Master of Science in Public Health. He earned Doctor of Dental Medicine from The University of Florida College of Dentistry with awards in pediatrics. Following dental school, he completed residency training in pediatric dentistry at University of Florida-Shands Hospital. He is board certified in pediatric dentistry and is a Fellow of the American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry.

Dr. Sierra is a member of the American Dental Association, Florida Dental Association, American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry, Florida Academy of Pediatric Dentistry, Academy of Laser Dentistry, International Affiliation of Tongue-Tie Professionals, and American Cleft Palate-Craniofacial Association. He has served as President of Florida Academy of Pediatric Dentistry and the Florida Cleft Palate Craniofacial Association.
Dr. Sierra is on the clinical faculty at the University of South Florida, Morsani College of Medicine in the Department of Pediatrics. He is an author and has made national presentations in the dental care of the child with facial differences. He has been involved in family-centered care and oral health care for children with special needs for over 20 years.

Dr. Sierra and his wife Theresa are very involved in the community. They stay busy with the activities of their five children.

facilities. These special clinics are supported by Children's Medical Services. Parents may contact our office or their CMS nurse for scheduling.
Children with Complex Medical and/or Dental Conditions: After consultation with Dr. Sierra and your child's physicians, treatment in a pediatric surgery center or pediatric hospital may be scheduled. Dr. Sierra is on the medical staff at Pediatric Surgery Center, St. Joseph's Children's Hospital, and All Children's Hospital. We work closely with pediatric anesthesiology, hematology/oncology, cardiology, and other medical specialties to safely provide the very best care for our patients. Please discuss any questions about your child's oral health care with any of our staff.
